INTRODUCTION







    The Franklin County Marriage Records (1878 to 1893) were researched,
prepared and edited in 1991 by Buela Jean Buntin & Mary Rea Eubanks.
I have retyped their information, and changed their index to include the
names of the parents of both brides and grooms, rather than just brides
and grooms.

    The files included in this submission indicate a page number(s)
following the names, which may be information about the persons who were
recording their marriage in Franklin County, Illinois, or about their
parents.

    Having  access to Franklin County, Illinois census records at home,
