LONG LIFE AT END
Mrs. Groffe of Duncan dies at the age of Ninety-five
Mrs. Groffe, one of the oldest residents of Fulton county, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Wilson, near Duncan Mills, at 4 o'clock Tuesday 
evening.
Mrs. Groffe was born in Pennsylvania, July 9, 1819, and had she lived until 
tomorrow she would have been 95 years of age.
The only surviving child is the daughter at whose home she died, and who is 
now pass 70 years of age.

Note from Judy Schoch--the submitter of this information must not have known 
that Mrs. Groffe had a son who survived her.  Catherine's maiden name was 
Kendig.
