Obituary of Esther Elizabeth McGehee HALL, Gallatin County, Illinois This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Nancy Hester Elizabeth Hall, wife of Eugene Hall, died Saturday [Sept. 11] afternoon at their home, 224 West I street, following a two months' illness, at the age of 58 years. A native of Shawneetown, Ill. Mrs. Hall came to Ontario from the middle west 15 years ago. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church and of the Ontario Woman's club. Surviving Mrs. Hall besides the widower are two daughters, Mrs. Otto Gottwaid, Pomona, and Mrs. Charles L. Ficker, Los Angeles; two sisters, Miss Mahala McGehee, Jacksonville, Ill., and Mrs. L. W. DeClerc, Milwaukee, Wisc., and three brothers, John C. McGehee, New York City; Wilbur McGehee, Detroit, Mich., and Seely McGehee, Wichita, Kan. Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be conducted tomorrow, 2 p.m. at the J. B. Draper company chapel, 127 West C street, with the Rev. Charles D. Williamson, former Ontarian and a long-time friend fo the family, officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue cemetery.
