Obituary of Robert Edson, Greene County, Illinois

Robert Edson died of consumption last Friday at the home of his
sister, Mrs. John Regelien, west of Carrollton. His age was 22 years.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J.D. Payne at Richwoods
church Saturday afternoon, and the burial was in Richwoods cemetery,
beside the grave of his father, Wm. Edson. He had lived the past five
years in Oklahoma, returning here five weeks ago. Five brothers and
two sisters remain, as follows: Edward, Wesley, Charles and Mrs. Eliza
Regelien, near Carrollton, Walter, Lee and Ada in Oklahoma.
