Author: "History of Grundy County, Illinois", 1882

MILES GORDON, joiner, Morris, was born in Franklin County, Me., January 22, 
1820. He came to Morris in 1843, and has been a leading contractor in his line 
of business during all the years of his residence here. In August, 1844, our 
subject was married to Miss Betsey JUDKINS, of Maine; this union has been 
blessed with five children.
