D. (deceased), a pioneer physician of Grundy County and one of its most honored men, was born in Vermont, October 8, 1796, and came to Illinois in 1836, locating first in McHenry County, later going to Kane County, and arriving in Morris in 1858. He continued in active practice until his death. He married Sarah Amelia Clifford, and their children were as follows: Anna E.
