Orville T. Wilson, secretary of the Morris Grain Company, of Morris, Illinois, 
is one of the enterprising business men of the town, where he has resided for 
the past four years. Briefly, the facts in regard to his life are as follows:

Orville T. Wilson is a son of Jonathan and Elma C. (Hoyle) Wilson, highly 
respected citizens of Grundy county, Illinois; and was born on his father's 
farm in this county, June 15, 1868. He was engaged in farming from his early 
youth until 1895, when he left the farm and came to Morris. From February, 
1895, until October, 1897, he was a member of the lumber firm of J. H. 
Pattison & Company. In the meantime, in 1895, he became associated with others 
in the organization of the Morris Grain Company, and in the fall of 1897, 
having sold his lumber interests, he assumed the active duties of secretary of 
the company he had helped to organize and which is now doing a prosperous 
business.

Mr. Wilson has a wife and three children. He was married in 1893 to Miss Alice 
M. Pattison, daughter of J. H. Pattison, and their children, in order of 
birth, are Grace, Jennie Elma and Lois.

Politically Mr. Wilson is a stanch Republican, active in the support of his 
party. Public-spirited and enterprising, he is regarded as one of the leading 
young business men of the town. Fraternally he is identified with the Knights 
of Pythias.
