Freckleton, of Joliet, visited friends here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Buckley of Joliet visited relatives over Sunday. Samuel Shepley and wife, of Joliet, spent Sunday with parents here. Alex. Moore returned from Chicago Tuesday after several days visit in the city. Mrs. Fitzgerald, of Chicago, visited relatives here several days of the past week. John Buckley and wife spent Sunday with his sister, Mrs. C. A. Trowbridge. Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Hooper spent several days last week visiting in Chicago. Mrs. George Tinder Jr. of Joliet, spent a few days of this week with relatives here. The Misses Winifred and Luella Templeton of Joliet spent Sunday with their father here. John Ferguson and Bert Coop bade farewell to Illinois and started for Canada last Tuesday morning. Quite a crowd from here attended a party at the home of Frank Eneix at Birds Bridge Friday evening. John Kaffer and Edward Berry were Joliet visitors Saturday evening and witnessed "When Knighthood was in Flower" at the theatre. The village election will be held next Monday and the township election Tuesday.
