Occasionally there arises the newspaper correspondent reformer who has the termerity to try to tell the people that they have made a mistake in the selection of their public officials and the said correspondent hath "arose" and told the majority of the voters of the village of Minooka what charlatans they be for choosing certain men to conduct the business of the municipality for the ensuing year. Evidently the News correspondent believes in the rule of the minority and the silence of the majority. Transcribed by Deb Haines, November 30, 1998
