Miss Beulah WEESE spent Sunday with her parents in Joliet. James PAUL had a runaway Saturday, but no one was hurt. Miss Ellen NELSON returned to her home in Morris over Sunday. Miss Mabel BLOGG, of Plainfield, spent Sunday with friends here. John KREIN, of Chicago, is spending a few days here with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Irwin COOK spent Sunday with Alex. WALSTROM and wife. Mrs. C. A. TROWBRIDGE and children, Leon and Alberta, were in Joliet Monday. Mrs. Geo. TINDER Jr. and son William, of Morris, are spending a few days here. Miller FIELDS and sister, of Chicago, spent Sunday with Edward OAKS and family. Miss Mary CANTWELL spent a few days with Fred DIRST and family the past week. Quite a number of the boys enjoyed fishing Saturday down on the Dupage river. Miss Luella TEMPLETON who was recovering from pneumonia is not so well again. Edward McEVILLY left Monday morning for a trip on business down in Indiana. Little Ruth WILSON is fully recovered from the measles and is able to be out again. Miss Helen KAVANAUGH, of Joliet, spent Sunday with her cousins, the Misses McEVILLY. Criesy SHIELDS, son of James SHIELDS, is so much improved that the nurse left Sunday. Mrs. SHERWOOD, of Joliet, returned home Monday morning after a week's visit with friends here. The Misses Katherine and Tessie McEVILLY attended the Knights of Columbus party in Morris Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Van FAULKENBERG and baby, of Joliet, spent Sunday with Mrs. Van FAULKENBERG's parents, M. DEMPSEY and wife. Miss Mattie COLLEPS, Miss Lizzie CARROLL and Robert CARROLL went to Chicago Tuesday noon to attend a May party there that night. Thomas OAKS, while helping load a coffee mill onto a wagon at N. J. COMERFORD's corner a few days ago had his head cut quite badly, and a physician's attendance was required. Mrs. Mary COMERFORD and daughter, Mrs. D. S. McGRATH, both of Chicago, are guests here of the former's nephew, N. J. COMERFORD, and other relatives. Mrs. COMERFORD formerly resided here. Mr. and Mrs. N. J. COMERFORD and daughter Helen spent Easter at Notre Dame, Ind., where the COMERFORD boys are attending school and where the Easter services were especially beautiful.
