Richard is himself again; or in other words N. J. COMERFORD is once more in business at the old stand. Mr. COMERFORD, after retiring from business and resting for a year or two, has about completely regained his health and feels like getting into the harness again. The fire that destroyed the greater part of KAFFER Bros.' stock a few weeks ago afforded a good opportunity for making a transfer of the business and it was accordingly made. The building will be rebuilt as quickly as possible and in the meantime all branches of the business will be carried on in the part of the building left standing. W. A. CLARK will be associated in the business with Mr. COMERFORD. Transcribed by Deb Haines, November 30, 1998
