Mrs. Robert BRADBURY was a visitor to Joliet Friday. Mrs. A. K. KNAPP and Millie FLUENT spent Thursday in Chicago. Miss Luella TEMPLETON visited friends in Joliet the past week. Mrs. G. L. HOOPER was quite sick Saturday and Sunday but is better now. George COULEHAN and Charles McEVILLY were Chicago visitors Wednesday. Mrs. George THAYER and son, of Joliet, visited relatives here the past week. Rev. LOWERY, wife and little one spent Thursday in Joliet among old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur BEDFORD returned home Sunday from their wedding trip. Mrs. Rebecca BRINCKERHOFF is visiting her son, Dr. J. J., and family for a few weeks. Miss Mabel BLOGG, of Plainfield, was the guest of Miss Mae TINDER over Sunday. Miss Lillian McCOWAN visited with her parents in Joliet from Saturday until Monday. Miss Carrie NEWMAN has been sick the past week with malarial fever, but is about well now. Baby HENNEBERRY, who has been quite sick with the measles the past week, is now improving. John McLINDEN, who had his finger cut off in a corn sheller about a week ago, is getting along nicely. Robert BRADBURY moved his family into the house beside the railroad tracks, south of the elevator last week. J. H. MURPHEY and wife spent a few days of the past week with their son, Cyrus Whittington, in Plainfield. Misses Lizzie COULEHAN and Emma McEvilly went to Joliet Wednesday evening, returning Friday after a visit with friends there.
