John KAFFER was a Joliet business visitor Saturday. Mrs. Alex. BELL and daughter Lulu were in Chicago Saturday. Isadore HOLLERING spent Sunday with friends in Plainfield. Edward CARLIN of Joliet spent Sunday with Wm. FORAN and family. Mrs. T. GOLDSBERRY, who fell and hurt her knee, is much better now. Miss Kittie KINNEY visited in Chicago from Saturday until Monday. T. GOLDSBERRY and son Prof. GOLDSBERRY were Morris visitors Saturday. Mrs. Wm. COOP and Miss Lizzie CONLEY were Joliet visitors Saturday. Invitations are out for the K. of P. dance in Masonic Hall, Nov. 22, 1905. Mrs. BRANNICK, who has been very sick the past week, is much improved. Miss Etta TALBOT, of Joliet, spent Sunday with her mother and sisters here. Misses Katherine and Tessie McEVILLY spent Sunday and Monday in Chicago. Mrs. J. J. BRINCKERHOFF went to Lockport Tuesday to visit her relatives there for a few days. Mrs. Wm. J. WALSH and daughter Celia spent Sunday with the former's parents, F. MILLER and family. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. CHURCHILL visited their son, Clarence and wife, a few days last week. They expect to leave soon for the south to spend the winter there. Frank WILSON and his brother John of Plainfield went to Chicago Monday to buy a car load of fat cattle to supply beef for their markets here and at Plainfield. COMERFORD & CLARK are having a salt house erected on the Rock Island grounds west of the depot and opposite the firm's general store. The new building will be a matter of great convenience to the proprietors and to their patrons.
