Launched, Leaks So Badly She Goes to Bottom The "Carrie J.," the vessel that has been the light of "Cap" Streeter's eyes for many months and upon which he has put an immense amount of labor, now lies on the bottom of the "Tadpole" ditch at Morris, the waves flowing merrily over the upper deck and the fish playing hide and seek through the portholes. When the vessel was launched she began to leak like a sieve and in a very short time sank. Streeter succeeded in saving his household effects. The captain will raise his craft and patch her up and expects to sail to Chicago in the spring to invade the "deestrict of Lake Michigan."
