Palatine Enterprise [Palatine IL] January 1, 1915
Aurora - John Kinzie, a twenty-three-year-old boy, is a prisoner in the county 
jail of Grundy county at Morris, waiting to be sentenced to hang for the 
murder of Mrs. Anna Popokitis. He was found guilty and his punishment fixed at 
hanging by the jury. It will be the first time a hanging has ever taken place 
in Morris.
