On Thursday morning, September 6, 1888, Carrie Grace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
S.C. Abbott, died in the 25th year of her age. Deceased was born in Hamilton, 
Madison county, N.Y., on the 24th of May, 1864. Some five years ago she came 
to this city with her parents, where she resided until the time of her death, 
by consumption which had taken hold upon her some eight years previous. The 
best of medical treatment and nursing was provided but gradually she failed. 
The funeral took place from the house on Saturday.
