The Norwegian Lutheran church was packed with sympathizing friends and relatives. Rev. Aarrestad and Rev. Swartz each spoke touchingly, the former in the Norwegian tongue and Mr. Swartz in English. The floral offerings were magnificent. They consisted of: a pillow from the Morris Fish and Game Club, to which the deceased belonged, which was characterized by a broken fish pole of remarkable design; a crescent, a cross, a wreath, a letter "A" or the set pieces, and several bouquets. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery and the following served as pallbearers: John Christenson, Ole Paulson, Chris. Olson, Lars Foxford, Andrew Arneson, and Johan Olson.
