Augustine one of Braceville's oldest citizens departed this life at 10 o'clock last Sunday night and was buried last Tuesday afternoon in the Augustine cemetery. Services were held in the M. E. church conducted by the Rev. W. Stranahan who delivered an impressive sermon from first Samuel 15th chapter, 32d verse after the reading of the 93 Psalm. Mr. Augustine was born on a farm in Stark Co., Ohio, in 1831 and removed with his family to Braceville in 1861. Thus being in his 82nd year at the time of his death. He leaves one son, Oliver, in Kansas and Mrs. Kewan in Braceville to mourn his death.
