Rev Montgomery, a former pastor of the first congregational church and Rev T S Oadams having charge of the services. A quartette composed of Mrs A B Hull, Mrs J A Pool, C A Violet and F N Hull sang several selections, they being as follows: “Asleep in Jesus”, “Rock of Ages”, “Nearer My God to Thee”. The floral tributes were among the most profuse ever laid on a casket in Morris. One large blanket of roses, violets and orchids completely covered the casket. It was sent from Chicago last evening by Darius Miller. There were innumerable bouquets of roses, violets and lilies. Joseph Petit and John Horrie acted as ushers at the house and the following were the pallbearers that escorted the casket to beautiful Evergreen cemetery: Henry Baum, Henry Claypool, Martin Hale, Ole Erickson, Dr CJI Murray.
