Mrs. E. Caisley Dies At Home

Morris, July 18 - Mrs. Ellen Leach Caisley died last night in the home of her 
granddaughter, Mrs. Rome Graham, 508 East Illinois avenue. She was born in 
England, Oct. 5, 1847 and came to this country with her parents at an early 
age. She was married to Thomas Caisley, Dec. 23, 1863, and they resided in 
Nettle Creek township until February 1879, and then in Wauponsee township, 
coming to Morris in 1902. Mr. Caisley died Aug. 12, 1907.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Leach of Wauponsee township and Leslie of 
Morris; two brothers, F. J. Leach of Los Angeles, Calif., and J. E. Leach of 
Chaneyville, Ill., one sister, Mrs. D. A. Mathews of Morris; six grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rome Graham tomorrow 
afternoon at 1 o'clock to the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. W. C. 
Snicer will officiate.
