Morris Herald, Apr 1888
Mrs. Brienna Dawson, relict of Abraham Dawson, died at the home of her son, 
Emerson, Saturday, April 14, and her remains were on Monday deposited by the 
side of her husband, with whom she had lived almost a half century. Deceased 
was born in Wayne Co., N.Y., September 7, 1813, and was consequently 74 years, 
7 months and 7 days at the time of her death. She came to Morris with her 
husband in 1853 and has always resided here. Four children, sons, survive her. 
Lewis B., now living at Indian River, Florida; Leman L., of Stark, Florida; 
Emerson of Morris and Frank of Chicago.
