Gilbert Estensen, who was operated on in the Morris hospital, shortly after 
noon yesterday died in that institution at 12:25 this afternoon. The body was 
removed to the Hogan Funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday 
afternoon at 1:30 in his home in 616 Liberty street and at 2 o'clock in 
Hauge's Lutheran church. Burial will be in Saratoga cemetery. Mr. Estensen was 
71 years old and was born Feb 6, 1860 in Norway. He came to this country in 
1881 and located in Calmus, Iowa. After a short time he went to Minnesota. 
Later in 1898, he moved to Saratoga township, Grundy county where he farmed 
until four years ago, when he moved to Morris. On Feb 10, 1898 he was married 
to Stena Maland in Hauge's Lutheran church, Saratoga and she survives him with 
one son Theodore. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Olson and Miss 
Christina Estensen in Triumph, Minn.
