Mrs Feehan had been ailing for a long time with asthma and heart trouble. Her husband died about fifteen years ago. The surviving children are Daniel and Miss Esther and Jeremiah, of Chicago, Michael, of Joliet, Mrs Ambrose Brannick, of Minooka, and John whose residence at present is not known. The funeral took place Monday at 10:30 o'clock from the home conducted by Rev Father Joseph McMahon. Interment was in Dresden Cemetery. In the burial of Mrs Feehan last Saturday a very heavy steel outer casing received the coffin. This steel casing is supposed to be very enduring in protecting the remains from contact with the soil. It was the first of the kind ever used here.
