The decedent had been ill with kidney trouble but a few days and her death came quite unexpectedly. She was a lady of fine christian character and was beloved by all. The sorrowing relatives are the husband and six children. Of the latter four are sons and two daughters, James, of Morris, Bernhard, Andrew, Edward and Margaret of this vicinity, and Mrs Mary Swain, of Morris. The funeral took place Wednesday forenoon from the home, and burial was in the Dresden cemetery. Phoenix Advertiser Minooka News, Oct 22, 1903 Died, at her home, south of Minooka on Monday evening, Oct 19, after an illness of only four days, Mrs Robert Feeney, aged about 60 years. Deceased leaves her husband, three sons, Barney, Edward and Andy, all married and two daughters, Mrs Mary Sweeney of Morris and Miss Margaret at home; also one brother, James Handlon; who resides south of Minooka. Besides the above mentioned she leaves many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn for her. She was always cheerful, good natured and generous and a favorite with all. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct 21, with interment at Dresden cemetery.
