Morris Daily Herald, Tues, May 24, 1960 
Mrs. Daniel H. Harrington, 68, of 1215 Lisbon St., died Monday evening in St. 
Joseph's hospital, Joliet. Her body is at the Davis Funeral home where friends 
may call from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday or Thursday. The rosary will be said at 8 
p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services will be conducted in Immaculate Conception church at 9 a.m. 
Friday. Burial will be made in Mt. Carmel cemetery.

The former Luella B. Brooks was born in Morris Oct. 15, 1891, a daughter of 
the late William and Malinda Anderson Brooks. She attended Morris schools and 
married Daniel H. Harrington in Ottawa Aug. 3, 1911. They since made their 
home in Morris.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. William (Doris) Heerman, 
Morris, and Mrs. Kenneth (Marion) Hamilton, Dalton; four sons, Charles, LeRoy 
and Harry, all of Morris; and Daniel Jr., of Channahon. Also surviving is a 
brother, Fred Brooks, Morris, 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
