Holmes - On Wednesday John H Holmes received word from his wife in Chicago that their son, William, died about noon. For several weeks past he has been sick with typhoid fever and finally disease ____ed the mastery. Deceased was born at Albany, NY, about thirty-nine years ago and when a child came to Morris with his parents. Here he remained for several years and a few years ago he went to Chicago. At the time he was taken sick he was working for one of the street car lines in Chicago and was doing very nicely. He was twice married. The only issue of the first marriage was a daughter, Viola, who is living in Morris with her grandparents. He was married a second time about three months ago, his wife being a Chicago lady. His mother went to Chicago a few weeks ago and was with him to the time of his death. His father will go to Chicago this afternoon. The remains will be brought here tomorrow and the interment will take place in Evergreen cemetery. He was well known in Morris, and his death will be mourned by many friends. The family have the sympathy of many acquaintances in their sad loss.
