Gardner News: Quite a number from here attended the funeral of Howard Huss, at 
the home of his mother, Mrs. Richard Huss, near the Waters school house. 
Howard was ill but a few days and died on Sunday morning about 1 o'clock. He 
was born in Gardner and spent the most of his life here, having moved to the 
farm upon the death of his father some years ago. The mother and other 
relatives have the sympathy of their Gardner friends. Rev. Kimberlain, of the 
Baptist church, conducted the funeral services and the remains were interred 
in the Braceville cemetery.
