Grundy County Sentinel, 1899
After a long illness, Jacob Kindlespire died at his home across the canal 
yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock. He was born in Ohio, Oct. 24, ’38, and came 
to Morris in January 1873 and has been a resident of this city ever 
since. Besides a wife he leaves five children, George, Frank, Charlie, Maggie 
and Maude, all of whom are grown and reside in Morris. The funeral will be 
held from the Congregational church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock and the 
remains will be interred in Evergreen cemetery.
