Catherine, relic of Jacob A. Lutz, died at her residence in this city Sunday 
morning at 11:15 o'clock of cancer; aged 73 years, 7 months and 1 day. 
Deceased was born in Wildberg, Wurtenberg, Germany, and with her husband came 
to this city thirty-eight years ago. Her husband died in 1879. She was the 
mother of six children, three of whom are living, to wit, Christina K. Webber, 
of West Moreland, Kas.; Jacob Lutz, of Gardner, and Carrie L., wife of Henry 
Fey, of this city. The funeral will take place from the Presbyterian church 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, and internment at Evergreen cemetery.

Deceased has been in poor health for some time. Four weeks ago she went to 
Chicago and entered the hospital for treatment, but stayed there but a week or 
two when she returned home, and was up and around the house until one week ago 
last Saturday, when she began to fail and gradually failed until death came as 
above announced.
