Miss Maland had been in poor health for some time but her last illness began Friday. Her body was removed to the Hoganson funeral home in Morris and will remain there until the funeral hour which will be at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon in the funeral home chapel and at 2 o'clock in Bethlehem Lutheran church at Lisbon. Rev. Allen R. Blegen will officiate and burial will be in Saratoga cemetery. Miss Maland was born in Norway, June 30, 1865, a daughter of Tollef and Gertrude Maland. She came with her parents to this country in 1882 and since that time has lived in Morris and the vicinity. Her parents died many years ago. She is survived by a brother, Ben T. of Saratoga township and a sister, Mrs. Stena Estensen of Morris, and seven nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Lutheran church and was active and helpful in all of the church work. She was a woman who had acquired many friends during her long years of nursing.
