R. D. Menaugh died last Sunday morning about 4 o'clock. His disease was 
typhoid fever and he was sick only a week. Mr. Menaugh was 50 years and 9 
months old. His funeral was held at the M.E. church in this place last Monday 
and, although the weather was severe, a large audience, nearly filling the 
house, was in attendance. The services were conducted by Rev. Rowe, assisted 
by Rev. Hart.
