All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/il/ilfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Deb Haines ddhaines@gmail.com October 23, 2006, 1:49 am Morris Herald, Jan 15, 1903 Halver Munson, a well-known retired farmer of Greenfield township died at his home in Gardner last evening about 6 o’clock after a week’s illness with grip. He has been a resident of Grundy county for about thirty years, coming to Morris from Bergen, Norway, where he was born nearly 70 years ago. Soon after coming to Morris he went to Helmar and farmed near there for awhile. His wife died and later he married Mrs. Larson, a daughter of Mrs. Andrew Paulson of this city. By his first wife there were born to him two sons who are still living near Gardner, their names being Thomas and Muns Munson.
