Myrtle Louise Rix died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat 
Hougas. She was two years old. Myrtle was playing in the yard and fell in a 
hole filled with water and drowned. An inquiry resulted in an accidental 
drowning verdict. Myrtle was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rix. Burial 
is in the Evergreen cemetery.
