The Spirit Lake Beacon, Iowa, Aug. 31, 1939
Guy Small, 67, of Dickinson Co., Iowa was killed in an auto crash Wednesday at 
2:10 pm. Mr. Small moved to Dickinson Co., Iowa in 1901 from Grundy Co., IL. 
He was a prominent citizen in Superior and Richland Townships. Mr. Small was 
President of Superior bank and served as Treasurer of the Dickinson Co. Mutual 
Insurance Co. in 1914. He leaves a wife and sons Wilson, Wayne and Floyd. 
Burial is Superior cemetery.
