Charlie C. Small, 89, Coal City, the son of Sypreon and Elizabeth Whitman 
Small. Born March 14, 1889 in Highland Township, Grundy Co., IL. He was 
married to Pearl Sereno 1918 in Pontiac, IL. Preceded in death by wife, two 
brothers, and a sister. Surviving are two daughters, a sister, nine 
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Interment will be Braceville-
Gardner cemetery.
