Mrs. Tetlow had been very feeble for a number of years and had several severe attacks of illness when it was thought that the end was near. Sarah A. Haywood was born in Yorkshire, England, March 15, 1825, and was one of a family of eleven children. In 1852 she was united in marriage to Thomas Tetlow and three years later, in 1855, they came to America and took up their home in Morris, where they have since resided. Four children were born to Mrs. Tetlow, but all have passed away. Her oldest daughter, died on shipboard when Mr. and Mrs. Tetlow were enroute to the United States. The others died in infancy with the exception of Mrs. F. W. Edson, who died five years ago. The deceased is survived by her aged husband, who is sick in bed, and his life is despaired of. She is survived also by two grandchildren, Mrs. Gertie Pigney, of Blunt, South Dakota, and Frank Edson, of Chicago. Two brothers and sisters survive her but their whereabouts are unknown. The deceased was a charter member of the Woman's Relief Corps and was always an active worker until her health failed. She was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral arrangements will not be announced until the arrival of the son-in-law, F. W. Edson, of Pierre, South Dakota, who is expected tonight.
