Wren, died at her home in this city this morning at 4:15, aged 63 years, 9 months and 7 days. Deceased was born in Staffordshire, England, November 14, 1827. In 1854 she came to this country and settled near Pittsburg, Pa., where she resided for nine years, when with her husband she came to Morris, where she has since resided. She was the mother of twelve children, eight of whom are living, seven in this city, and one, Mrs. Henry Kitchings, in Buffalo, N. Y. She had not been in good health for two years, and was able to be about all day. Last evening she attended prayer meeting at the M. E. church, of which she was a member. Going home, she, with other ladies, called to see a neighbor who was sick. While there she was taken with an apoplectic fit and fell down unconscious. She was attended by Dr. Oaks who directed that she be taken home, where she lay in a stupor until 1 o'clock. From that time she had convulsions every few minutes until 4:15 when she passed away without being able to bid her children farewell. Mrs. Wren was a very exemplary woman, a zealous christian and goes to her reward with a record of good works performed in the service of good works performed in the service of her Master. The funeral will take place from the M. E. church on Saturday.
