Written: September 1, 1885

In the name of God, Amen: I Harris Small, of the town of Verona in the county 
of Grundy and State of Illinois of the age of Sixty Eight years, and being of 
sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and 
testament, in manner following, that is to say:
First. It is my desire that all my funeral expenses and just debts of 
whatsoever nature be fully paid
Second. I give and bequeath to George and Effie Beal. Children of my daughter 
Lavinia Beal deceased the sum of ten dollars each.
Third. I give and bequeath all the rest residue, and remainder of my real and 
personal Estate of every name and nature whatsoever to my children Wilson 
Small, Emily Brumley, Daniel S. Small, Millard F. Small and Ellen McInturf or 
their heirs to be divided equally between them share and share alike
Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Wilson Small to be the 
executor of this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking all former Wills 
by my made. In case of the death of Wilson Small I appoint Daniel S. Small as 
his successor and in case of the death of both Wilson and Daniel S. Small I 
appoint Millard F. Small as the Executor of this instrument. Giving four years 
to sell Real Estate
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal, this first day of 
September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Five.
