John Bridwell Dead.

John Bridwell was born in Monroe county, Tennessee, Oct. 9, 1828, departed
this life April 1st, 1909, at the residence of Elmer Parmley, at the age of
80 years, 5 months and 23 days. He came to Hamilton county in 1862; was
united in marriage to Sarah Ann Smith 1863, to this union being born 7
children- William, Margaret, Cordelia, Joseph, George, John and Nelson.
Margaret died in her infancy and Sarah, his wife, also departed this life
February 11, 1905, and the rest of the children survive him with many other
relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were conducted at Webb's Chapel church by Rev. W. A.
Vinson in the presence of a large congregation, after which his remains were
interred in the Odd Fellows' cemetery at McLeans-
