Samuel C. STANDERFER, son of A.H. and Relizabeth Standerfer, was born July 3, 1860, and departed this life March 10, 1926, aged 65 years, 6 months and 7 days. He professed faith in Christ about a the year 1880, and united with Blooming Grove baptist Church, later moving his membership to Delafield Baptist Church where he remained a loyal member until death. He was united in marriage to Alice E. Deitz, Febuary 1, 1881, and to this union was born one child, Lura C. Daily, with whom he has made his home for the last several years. Sam Sanderfer, as he was known, was liked and respected by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn their loss a loving companion who has been afflicted for some time who will greatly miss his going, one daughter, three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Nancy Tedford, one half-sister and one half-brother and many other friends and relatives who will greatly miss him. Funeral services were conducted at the Delefield Baptist Church, Thursday, March 11, conducted by Elder John B. Maulding, assisted by Elders E.J. Cravens, C.F. Hooker, and J.D. Hooker. Interment at Bloomingrove Cemetery.
