John D Wheeler Obituary, Hamilton County, Illinois JOHN D. WHEELER. Word was received here last week telling of the death of John D. Wheeler at Ventura, California. Mr. Wheeler was a brother to Mrs. A. L. Sloan of this city. The manner of his death has not been learned as yet, but it is thought his death was accidental. Relatives have written California authorities for details but so far have not learned the particulars. Mr. Wheeler was better known here as "John Doug" Wheeler and will be remembered by many of the older residents.
