Wm. N. & Irma (Schumacher) King, my parents, copied this April 11, 1969. Cemetery was very brushy at that time. Now in 2004 township cemetery trustees have cleaned it up, installed a prominent sign and keep it mowed yearly. Virginia “King” Rottman, 200 N. 20th St., Hamilton, IL 62341, ginnyr362adams.net. It is unlikely there would have been any burials here since that time. Irma King stated neighbors told her a cholera epidemic was why so many died young and Robert Cochran said a slave was buried on this cemetery.
