(Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: February 14, 1857 Died at his residence, in Augusta, Ill., on the evening of the 29th inst., of Typhoid Pneumonia, Doct. Daniel C. Pierson, in the sixty fifth year of his age. The deceased was burn in Cedarville, New Jersey, where his early life was spent; he subsequently removed to Jacksonville, in this State, and during the last five years of his life was a citizen of Augusta. Mr. P. practiced medicine, successfully, for many years, but in consequence of person-debility he retired from practice some years since. In the death of Doctor Pierson the community has lost a most worthy and amiable citizen, and the Presbyterian Church one of its exemplary members. He died as be lived, a Christian.
