Obituary for A.M. Denton Sorry to hear of the death of our old friend, A.M. Denton, at his home northest of Sparks Hill Sunday a week ago. When we saw him a short time ago he claimed to be better, and we hardly expected the end so soon. He was 66 years old, an industirous, hardworking man, honest and upright in his dealings and one of Hardin County's best citizens. He first married Mary Ann, the oldest daughter of Aunt Hannah Patton, by whom he had some six children, all of whom, except two, with the mother preceded him to the grave. Some twenty years ago he married a Miss Henry who survives him. Deceased leaves a wife and two sons, William and James E. Denton, besides several grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn his death. Peace to his ashes.
