Obituary for Anna Pennell, Hardin County, IL OBITUARY Born Sep. 3, 1891-died Oct 24, 1925 being at her death 34 years 1 month and 20 days. She took ill a few months ago, lingered along between life and death and we fondly hoped that her life might be spared until alas when the death angel called. She was married to James Pennell in 1912. To this union was blessed with two children one girl and one boy who still survive. She also leaves a husband, three sisters and a host of other relatives to mourn their loss. She professed a hope in Christ 12 years ago at Mt. Zion and lived a faithful Christian life. But weep not dear ones as those without hope for she has gone to live with Jesus ever more and we should all prepare to meet her in that beautiful home where parting is no more and where no farewell tears are shed. All was done that could be done to save her but it was the will of our heavenly Father that she go to her reward in that bright home above. Her remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Angleton cemetery beside her father who was buried but a few months ago. The funeral was preached by Brother Oxford and Brother Dutton.
