CLARENCE CALVIN PATTON Son of John and Anna Patton was born 13 Dec. 1896; died at the home of his brother, Granville, Patton, in Elizabethtown, 16 Aug 1927, aged 30 years 8 months and 3 days. Clarence was a splendid young man and to know him was to respect and love him. Leaving his home state while quite young, he went to Iowa to seek work, and while there met and married Eva Radford in 1921 and to this union 2 children were born, a boy and a girl, the boy dying in infancy, the girl, Betty Ann, with her mother are left to mourn the loss of father and husbad. Deceased had been a patient sufferer for more than two years and while all was done for him that living hands could do the ravages of disease made steady inroads until the human frame was completely exhausted and death came to relieve the weary sufferer. Clarence was a member of the M.E. church and the funeral services were held in the church of his choice, conducted by the Pastor Rev. J.M.
