Obituary for Emma Louise Oxford Hardin County, Illinois Emma Louise Oxford The subject of this sketch was born 16 August 1927 to Winfred and Pearl Oxford and died 15 January 1929 with pneumonia and flu and was laid to rest in the Hall Cemetery the following day. Every thing was done that could be done to save this precious life but was all in vain; she was a bright eyed baby girl and idolized by the entire family and others as well. She leaves her parents, three sisters and one brother besides a host of near relatives to mourn for her but while our loss is Heaven's gain and we should not grieve for her as she is done with this old world of troubles and sorrow and we are here not knowing what troubles and sorrow may yet cross our path. We want to thank one and all for every act and kind deed and word that was done fro us during this time of need.
