OBITUARY Golda Hess, the daughter of Elihu N. and Ota Jane Hall was born May 4, 1902 and died March 21, 1990 at the age of 87 years. Golda was married to John Rowland on September 14, 1921. They were married 15 years at the time of his passing. Later Golda was gradutaed from the School of Cosmetology in Springfield, Illinois and operated a successful beauty shop in Rosiclare, Illinois. She was married to Richard Hess on May 2, 1947. They shared twenty five years together at the time of Richard's death in 1972. Surviving Golda are two sisters, Geneva Hall Grater and Galena Hall Kinght, two nephews Everett D. Knight, his wife Sharlene and sons Mark and Jason, and John W. Hall and his wife Corina and sons William and Russell, one niece, Lois Knight Mitchell, her husband William and children, Kathryn M. Pierce, James and Tobin Mitchell, and one brother in law Wayne Knight. Golda's one brother, William Prentice Hall preceded her in death. Favorite Bible quote: "It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the Lord doth require of thee; only to do justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God." Micah 6:8.
