M. and Susanna Jones was born December 19, 1874, died November 29th 1928, age 54 years, 11 months and 10 days old. On April 29, 1898 he was united in marriage to Mary C. Spivey, to this union were born two children, one died in infancy. He leaves to mourn his departure a loving companion, one daughter, Nellie Fricker, one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister namely: F. M. Jones of Rosiclare, Tom Jones of California and John Jones of Herod, Illinois Joshie Davis of Rosiclare, besides a host of relatives and friends. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the General Baptist church and was faithful until the end. He was a kind and affectionate father and friend. To know him was to love him; he had a kind word for everyone whom he met and was loved by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, relatives and friends, a kind friend, his companion, a loving husband and children a loving father. On December 1st. 1928 funeral services were conducted by Rev T. S. Recter in the presence of a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends.
