Obituary of Little J W STUBY, Hardin County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 1999 Wanda Reed Name of Deceased: J W STUBY Name of Newspaper: Hardin County Independent Date of Newspaper: 21 November 1929 Little J. W. Stuby was born January 14, 1925; departed this life August 12, 1929, being at his death four years, 6 months and 29 days. He was the son of Elsie and Elmer Stuby. While his stay on earth was for a short time, yet he was admired and loved by all who met him. He seemingly was the most intelligent, kind and loving child, yet those are the kind Jesus loves too. He says "Suffer little children to come unto me for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." So weep not dear ones as those who have no hope. If we believe that Jesus died and was raised so will little J. W. and all those who love and watch for His appearing. So with the voice of poor old David we can say, we cannot call him back but we can go to him. Funeral services were held August 13th at Good Hope after which the remains were laid to rest in the Good Hope Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death, father, mother, two brothers Troy and Guy Elden and two sisters, Fern and Jaunita, besides a host of relatives and friends.
